Melbourne Dance Festival required a complete logo and brand identity for its first edition. The goal was to develop a fun, memorable visual system that captured the movement and energy of dance while building excitement around the festival launch.I designed a custom logotype inspired by the fluidity of movement, featuring rounded, arching letterforms that evoke rhythm and flow. A bright, dynamic color palette reflects the energy of performance, while the adaptable identity system ensured consistency across posters, web, and print collateral.The resulting design celebrates the expressive and communal nature of dance, establishing a bold foundation for the festival’s visual presence.
